(m). The design of the exterior elevation and the dis-

-position of any building to be erected on the lot shall be subject to the special approval of the Director of Public Works and in no case may the height of my building erected on the lot

exceed 35 feet.

(n). The lessee to construct to the satisfaction of the

Director of Public Works such drains or chennels

as that officer may consider necessary to inter- -cept and carry off stormwater flowing on to the lot from the hillside.

(c). The lessee to pay the sum of $6.25 for each

boundary stone required to define the lot; the stones will be supplied and fixed by the Director of Public Works.

(p). The lessee to take up the Crown Lease when called

upon to do so by the Land Officer and to pay him the sum of £30.00 for the same.

(q). The lot to be treated as land acquired after the passing of the Public Health and Buildings Ordi- -nance, 1903.

(r). The exact boundaries of the lot to be determined

before the issue of the Crom Lease. In the event of any excess or deficiency in area being found to exist as compared with the area stated in these conditions the amount to be paid by or to be re- -funded to the lessee in respect of such excess or deficiency will be calculated at the rate of 25 cents per square foot. Crow Rent will be adjusted at the rate of $120.00 per acre per

annum.

3. As the applicant is anxious for a settle -ment of the matter as soon as possible, I should be glad to secure Your Lordship's approval by telegraph.
